2026 Finisher Medals
The 2026 Fayetteville Half Marathon finisher medal celebrates both our community and a historic milestone — the 250th anniversary of the United States.
This year’s design was inspired by Henry, the winner of our Fayetteville Half Marathon Medal Design Competition. Henry’s concept helped bring this medal to life, blending patriotic elements with the landmarks and spirit that make Fayetteville such a special place to run.
Drawing inspiration from patriotic red, white, and blue tones, the design honors the spirit of America while showcasing the landmarks that define Fayetteville.
At the center of the medal is the outline of Arkansas, highlighted with the state diamond — symbolizing Arkansas as The Natural State and reminding runners that Fayetteville sits within one of the most beautiful running landscapes in the country.
Surrounding the centerpiece are iconic Fayetteville landmarks runners experience along the course and throughout the city. The historic Washington County Courthouse, the recognizable Fayetteville water tower, and the rolling Ozark hills represent the character, heritage, and natural beauty that make Fayetteville such a special place to run.
The medal’s bold banner and star elements echo classic American design, reflecting the celebration of America’s 250th year and the pride of finishing in a community that embraces endurance, outdoor culture, and tradition.
Whether you’re running your first Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, or Fun Run or returning to Fayetteville for another memorable race weekend, this medal represents more than a finish line — it represents history, place, and perseverance.
